Prefer to fish at your own pace without a guide? Enjoy a peaceful fishing experience at the Arctic Circle.

Collect your fishing permit from Napapiiri Café (Hautajärventie 414, FI-98995 Hautajärvi), where you'll also receive directions and practical information. From there, drive a short distance to a beautiful wilderness pond stocked with rainbow trout earlier this spring.

Spend a relaxing time fishing in the heart of nature. If you wish, you can smoke your catch and enjoy it afterwards at Napapiiri Café.

• Rainbow trout fishing permit (2 hours, one fish): €30

Good to Know

• A catch is highly likely but cannot be guaranteed.
• Napapiiri Café is open Monday–Saturday from 9:00 to 16:00.

Participants aged 18–69 must also hold a valid Finnish Fisheries Management Fee, which is not included in the price. The fee can be purchased in advance at Eräluvat – Fisheries Management Fee.
