Snowshoeing and lunch on the Arctic Circle

Have you been dreaming about stepping on the Arctic Circle and crossing it? Then this trip is just for you!

The Arctic Circle goes through the village of Hautajärvi in the northern end of Oulanka National Park, less than half an hours drive from Sallatunturi. During this half-day trip we will have an opportunity to cross the famous line and get the Arctic Circle Crosser diploma.

We will go snowshoeing in the forest admiring the beautiful nature and have a hot drink by a campfire. Lunch will be served at the visitor centre, where you can also see a small exhibition presenting the flora and fauna of Lapland's wetlands. Duration approximately 3,5 hours.

The price includes return car transfers from Sallatunturi or Salla Wilderness Park, a guided snowshoeing tour (1,5 hours) with a hot drink, a soup lunc (soup of the day, bread, spread, water/juice, coffee/tea), Arctic Circle crosser diploma.
This tour requires a minimum of 2 participants.
