Arctic Circle Ice Karting & Winter Park

Right at the Arctic Circle, Winter Park offers a relaxed winter experience inspired by Lapland’s snowy outdoors. The main thrill of the park is Ice Karting: race across the frozen ice karting track, and enjoy easy-going winter activities such as the reindeer antler toss or the Sámi tradition of lasso throwing. Play mini golf on ice, glide down sledding hills, spin on a “napakelkka,” or try the classic Finnish kicksledge track. The park is designed for laughter, playful moments, and enjoying the winter atmosphere together, with Ice Karting as the main attraction. 

Activities include:


• Ice Karting – race across a frozen karting track
• Snow Golf – unique winter minigolf course
• Reindeer Antler Toss – aim and score points
• Lasso Challenge – try the Sámi "Suopunki" rope throwing
• Sledding Hills  – pure winter joy
• "Napakelkka" Spin – traditional Finnish spinning ride


Time: 

December through March, daily Mon-Sat 10:00 - 13:30, weather permitting.

Entrance fee:

Includes:

• Tickets, guidance and transportation from Napapiiri Café to Winter Park and back
• Hot juice and gingerbreads in a Lappish Kota hut

Price including Ice Karting:

  • €65/person

Includes also:

• Equipment: overall, helmet, gloves and boots
• Two 15-minute Ice Karting sessions with a short break in between
There's no age restriction, but all participants must be at least 150 cm (4ft 11in) tall.

Transportation from Ruka or Sallatunturi:

  • €20/person/return transfers
  • Choose your pick-up point at the time of your reservation
