Arctic Circle Apartment

Here you can literally say you spent the night on the Arctic Circle! The Northern Arctic Circle runs right through the apartment.

The apartment, located in connection with the Napapiiri Café main building, has two bedrooms, a small kitchen and a private bathroom. The price also includes a parking space and free access to warm up the traditional and cosy Finnish  “kota” sauna just for yourself. (Excluding the times of possible reservations). 

One bedroom has a 160 cm double bed, and the other has two separate 80 cm beds.

The bathroom has a shower and toilet, as well as a washing machine.

The kitchen is equipped with an American-style fridge-freezer, microwave, stove and oven, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, tableware for 6 people, pots, a frying pan and other kitchen utensils.

The price includes bed linen, towels and final cleaning.

Self check-in from 16:00 onwards. We will send the door code by text message to the phone number you provided or by email.

Check-out by 12:00.

**The apartment is located in the same building as **Napapiiri Cafe**, which operates daly in the summer season and in winter occasionally as a private restaurant. It also serves as a base for activities. However, this does not cause any disturbance to the guests, as the apartment has its own private entrance on the side of the building.

The apartment is located in Hautajärvi village in Salla municipality the nearest built-up residential area Salla centre with closest shops is about 39–40 km away by road (around a 30–40 minute drive). 

Reminder: So although it’s officially within Salla, the apartment is far from dense housing and closer to wilderness and countryside than to an urban area.
