Arrive in Kuusamo by air and let your adventure begin effortlessly. We will pick you up from Kuusamo Airport and transfer you to Napapiiri Café, where you’ll spend the night surrounded by peaceful wilderness. After a restful night and breakfast, you’ll start your Karhunkierros hike refreshed and ready.

*) Wilderness cabin accommodation offers the best of Lapland’s rustic charm. These modestly equipped cabins for 1–2 persons provide simple, back-to-basics lodging in bunk beds. A wood-burning stove keeps the cabin warm, as long as the fire is maintained. Lighting is provided by the stove’s firebox and specially selected LED lanterns.
Guests sleep in their own sleeping bags.
The cabins do not have electricity or running water. A water point and dry toilet are available in the area. A water-flush toilet is located in the main building. Breakfast for guests is served at Napapiiri Café between 7:00 and 9:00.
