After breakfast, head straight onto the Karhunkierros trail — without the stress of extra logistics or transfers.
Spend your day in the impressive landscapes of Oulanka National Park: rushing rapids, dramatic canyons, and the tranquility of northern forests. At the end of your hike, you’ll arrive near Ruka, where a scheduled transfer will take you back to Napapiiri Café, where your car awaits.

Return transfer is arranged on the final day of your hike according to the Karhunkierros Express schedule. Departure times will be communicated and requested to be confirmed closer to the date. Please note that this is a shared transfer, and individual schedules cannot be guaranteed.

Guests are asked to allow sufficient time for the hike and arrive at the pickup location well in advance of the scheduled departure time.
*) Wilderness cabin accommodation offers the best of Lapland’s rustic charm. These modestly equipped cabins for 1–2 persons provide simple, back-to-basics lodging in bunk beds. A wood-burning stove keeps the cabin warm, as long as the fire is maintained. Lighting is provided by the stove’s firebox and specially selected LED lanterns. Guests sleep in their own sleeping bags.
The cabins do not have electricity or running water. A water point and dry toilet are available in the area. A water-flush toilet is located in the main building. Breakfast for guests is served at Napapiiri Café between 7:00 and 9:00.
